and welcome to my photograhy space 
Just upgraded my canon 550d paired with a tamron 10-22 (for most of my scenery shots) to a canon 6D with a canon L series 17-40. Super happy with this combination and loving the results!
One of my favourite quotes;
(question to photographer) "What do you believe is your best work?"
The photographer replied, "The work which I am going to take tomorrow"

I could not agree with this more. Every shoot I go on I build on what I learnt from the previous shoot and apply it to the next.

Have not been doing much work on DA in the last 6 months, will be uploading more images from now on

The reason I am drawn to photography so much is for two main reasons; Aspiring to be a creative individual and the problem solving which takes place behind each photograph. Actually, these are the main reasons I continue to photograph.
Often I will picture a composition in my mind. This is then followed by deciding on how I will light the composition; Whether or not to use flashes, natural light, the source of light, reflectors, filters, temperature of light - the list goes on. This is how I believe I can imprint my emotional attachment to an image, which is what I love. The object is already there, I'm just choosing what to elucidate. Upon reflection I think this is why i enjoy shooting long exposure. The depth of colours, showing a passage of time and being able to draw with light... just makes the whole journey a joy.

Just starting out as a photographer, learning new stuff everyday and loving it! Feel free to critique any of my works, it would greatly be appreciated!
I read this once upon a time and it has stuck in my mind ever since, although i cannot remember where I came across it!
